As of March 1, 2022, casino visitors will no longer require proof of vaccination or masks for entry to Rideau Carleton Casino, future home of Hard Rock.
Social distancing is still recommended.
February 17, 2022.
We are happy to announce that Rideau Carleton Casino is now open with no capacity limits. No reservations are required. In compliance with the direction of Public Health restrictions please know that face masks are required at all times except when seated and eating or drinking, including on our gaming floor.
Enhanced vaccine QR codes must still be verified at the entrance by Security to enter showing two doses of vaccine received more than 14 days previously. Social distancing is still recommended.
Update January 28, 2022
With the recent announcement from the Ontario government, Rideau Carleton Casino is happy to announce our reopening date of January 31, 2022 at 9am. We will reopen at 50% capacity. No reservation required!
This will be a phased reopening of services. The first stage of reopening the business operations will include:
- Slot games available 24/7
- Electronic Table Games only
- Mr. Lucky’s restaurant open 9am to 1am
- Beverage service, including alcohol, will be served until 2am in Rendez Vous bar and complimentary beverages will be available on the gaming floor once again
As previously communicated, as of January 4, 2022, as mandated by the provincial government, for entry all casino visitors will require the provincial government of Ontario’s Enhanced COVID-19 Vaccine QR code as proof of full vaccination. In accordance with Public Health, vaccinations must be completed at least 14 days prior to date of entry and presented with government issued identification to enter Ontario casinos, including Rideau Carleton Casino, future home of Hard Rock.

The QR code can be presented on a mobile device, or in printed form, as long as name and dates of vaccination are visible on the page. Without the QR code after January 3, 2022 entry will be denied. Please prepare in advance of your visit.
This measure is in addition to the current screening and Safe and Sound protocols that are currently in place to ensure your safety and that of our team members including mandatory masks to be worn at all times with the exception of seated in dining areas.

For the safety of our employees and guests, we are following the current mandate as of Sunday December 19, 2021 at 12:01am that Food and Beverages are not permitted on our gaming floor at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Rendez-Vous Lounge is therefore closed. Food and Beverages will be available at Mr. Lucky’s restaurant from 8am-11pm.

NEW REQUIREMENT FOR PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION
As per government regulation the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code will be required as of January 4, 2022.
This new requirement is in line with the provincial government of Ontario’s Enhanced COVID-19 Vaccine announcement that was made on Wednesday September 1, 2021, stating patrons will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with ID to access certain indoor public settings, of which casinos are included.
Proof of full vaccination status can be presented through printed vaccine receipts or on a mobile device until an enhanced vaccine certificate with a QR code is available through the provincial government. Find out how to easily download your vaccination receipts here.

Dear racing fans,
Rideau Carleton Raceway is fully committed to ensuring the health and safety of all participates by mitigating manageable risks while racing during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The following document delineates the enhanced operational policies and procedures Rideau Carleton Raceway shall adopt while hosting live events. They have been developed in collaboration with the NCRHHA, Ottawa Public Health, Ontario Racing and our various governing bodies.

All visitors will require proof of full vaccination series in accordance with Public Health at least 14 days prior to date of entry and ID to enter Ontario casinos, including Rideau Carleton Casino, future home of Hard Rock. This measure is in addition to the current screening and Safe and Sound protocols that are currently in place to ensure your safety and that of our team members. We have also implemented a contact tracing form that must be completed on the day of your visit (print your confirmation page or show on your smart phone). For those without a computer or smartphone, a contact tracing log is available at the casino.
Please note:
· Minors will no longer be permitted on the tarmac – all guests must be 19yrs + to attend.
· Reservations are no longer required.
